Magewappa is a decorative linear up/down lamp with pendant and wall versions. It is inspired by traditional Japanese bento boxes and constructed of Suggi laminated wood in natural and lacquered versions.
The aluminum on its sides stitches together the 2 halves of the laminated wood. The inside is lacquered in white to reflect the light better.
The PMMA diffusor is separated from the walls, giving the impression of a levitating plane of light suspended along the walls, and recessed to provide better glare control.
